It’s generally recommended to have your HVAC system serviced twice a year—once in the spring for your air conditioning and once in the fall for your heating. Regular maintenance helps ensure that your system runs efficiently, extends its lifespan, and prevents unexpected breakdowns.
Common signs that your HVAC system may need repair include unusual noises, inconsistent temperatures, increased energy bills, poor airflow, and frequent cycling on and off. If you notice any of these issues, it’s best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
Improving air quality can be achieved by regularly changing your air filters, installing an air filtration or purification system, and scheduling regular duct cleaning. Additionally, consider integrating a whole-house humidifier or dehumidifier to maintain optimal indoor humidity levels.
Sealing air leaks improves energy efficiency by preventing conditioned air from escaping and unconditioned air from entering your home. This reduces the workload on your HVAC system, leading to lower energy bills and enhanced indoor comfort. Air sealing can also help improve indoor air quality by minimizing the entry of outdoor pollutants and allergens.
