Today I arrived on site to address the lack of hot water in the house. Diagnosis & Repair Found the boiler pilot light was out. Replaced the thermocouple. Confirmed the DHW system is back up and running. Upon arrival at the property. The client explained to me that he has no hot water on the property. The client directed me to the one located where the system is. I proceeded to verify the boiler unit with an indirect tank. I found the pilot light of the boiler off. I proceeded to verify the pilot assembly. I found the thermocouple not working. I showed the client the situation of the system and what the solution was. I presented you with an estimate of the cost of the repair. The client accepted the proposal. Proceed to replace the thermocouple of the unit. Install a new thermocouple. Start the unit h monitoring for about 15 minutes. The unit did not present faults or malfunction during the verification. I suggested the client to consider scheduling the appointment to tune up
Return to replace domestic hot Hot water recirculator loop pump: Access was given to the home by John the property manager for James * Access the circulator pump in the boiler room above the indirect storage tank * Power is currently off to the pump * Isolated valves on both sides of the circulator pump * Disconnected and removed electrical wiring from the existing pump * Disconnected and remove the existing pump from the hot water recirculating loop * Installed and secured brand new circulator pump and gaskets in pace * Connect and secure electrical wiring to new circulator pump * Open valves on both sides of the pump and confirm no leaks * Return power to the circulator pump and test operations- Circulator pump is on and running- Absolutely no noise- Normal operation * Monitor system operations and confirm that hot water is circulating properly through the loop and the pump shut off from the strap on aquastat and is satisfied * Run domestic hot water at the basement sink to con
