Today I arrived on site to address the heating system thermostat not working. Diagnostics and Repair Identified a faulty thermostat in the heating system. Recommended replacing the faulty thermostat. Replaced the thermostat after client approval. Current Status The heating system is now operational. Upon arrival at the property. The client explained to me that the tstat is not showing anything on the screen. The customer told me that he recently replaced the batteries but the tstat didn't work. The client directed me to where the tstat is. Proceed to verify the tstat. I found this tsta dead. I put new batteries to make sure the batteries were good. The tstat didn't answer. Check the wiring of the steam system for any loose connection or broken cable. The boiler wiring is fine. Confirm that the existing subtract is damaged. I showed him to the client and explained the situation of the tstat. I presented an estimate to the client to install a new programmable Honeywell P-200.
