I had Mark over for a routine fall/winter maintenance on our newly installed heating system. 15 minutes into Mark starting his work he comes to me with a very concerned look and I go oh oh! Bottom line the guys who installed the new system completely messed up the wiring to the air handlers and zone pumps and thermostats. Mark and his colleague Antonio diagnosed the problem and fixed the whole mess on the time and budget they estimated. Mark and Antonio are true professionals and I strongly urge Innovative Air to retain these guys and be role models, trainers and mentors for other technicians in your company. Today I arrived on site to address the continuous running of the heating system. Diagnostics and Repair Found the DHW control switch relay stuck in a closed circuit. This fault was causing the boiler to run continuously. Replaced the faulty DHW control switch relay. System Status The heating and DHW systems are now operating fine. The boiler is cycling as expected. Upon arriving at the property, the client explained to me that the heating system has been running constantly. The client explained that last night he had to turn off the system from the power switch to prevent it from continuing to overheat the house. The client directed me to the boiler room. Proceed to verify and investigate the situation. I found the boiler running receiving a call for DHW. Monitoring the system for about 10-15 minutes the system did not turn off on a set temperature water. I proceeded to verify the pump relay switch control. I found the setting the control at 150F. I setup the relay pump in diffe
