We’ve been loyal customers of Innovative Air for years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We called during the recent heat wave after our HVAC stopped working and were told the replacement parts would be ordered on Thursday, July 2. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Because the order wasn’t actually placed until Monday, July 6, after the holiday weekend, we had to wait even longer for the repair. Had the order been submitted when we were told it would be, our HVAC could have been repaired much sooner. When the technician, Richard, arrived to complete the installation, the visit felt rushed. We repeatedly explained that it was clear the thermostat was not the problem and asked that our original thermostat be reinstalled so we could return the new one for a refund. Despite those requests, the new thermostat was installed anyway. We also made it clear that the thermostat controls both the heating and cooling systems, but Richard could not confirm that it had been wired correctly for the heating function as well, leaving us concerned that we may need another service call when it’s time to switch to heat. To be fair, this experience was not representative of everyone at Innovative Air. Romario, the first technician who came to our home, was professional and helpful, and Paul, who assisted us by phone, was courteous and easy to work with. Unfortunately, Richard and another phone representative (who never identified himself and was quick to dismiss our concerns) did not provide the level of customer service we have come to expect from this company. We will continue to use Innovative Air because we’ve had many positive experiences over the years, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. We hope this feedback encourages better communication and more attention to customer concerns in the future.
