We’ve been loyal customers of Innovative Air for years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We called during the recent heat wave after our HVAC stopped working and were told the replacement parts would be ordered on Thursday, July 2. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Because the order wasn’t actually placed until Monday, July 6, after the holiday weekend, we had to wait even longer for the repair. Had the order been submitted when we were told it would be, our HVAC could have been repaired much sooner. When the technician, Richard, arrived to complete the installation, the visit felt rushed. We repeatedly explained that it was clear the thermostat was not the problem and asked that our original thermostat be reinstalled so we could return the new one for a refund. Despite those requests, the new thermostat was installed anyway. We also made it clear that the thermostat controls both the heating and cooling systems, but Richard could not confirm that it had been wired correctly for the heating function as well, leaving us concerned that we may need another service call when it’s time to switch to heat. To be fair, this experience was not representative of everyone at Innovative Air. Romario, the first technician who came to our home, was professional and helpful, and Paul, who assisted us by phone, was courteous and easy to work with. Unfortunately, Richard and another phone representative (who never identified himself and was quick to dismiss our concerns) did not provide the level of customer service we have come to expect from this company. We will continue to use Innovative Air because we’ve had many positive experiences over the years, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. We hope this feedback encourages better communication and more attention to customer concerns in the future.

Return to inspect humidifier that the customer states was broken during the install of his equipment: * At arrival, the customer brought me down to the humidifier, which is not working properly due to a broken float assembly * Open up the humidifier to find the float assembly broken in pieces / Screws missing to hold it in place / And it completely broken * There is phone tape insulation inside that looked like it was temporarily holding things in place * The existing components were all removed, and the inside of the humidifier was scraped clean of foam insulation * A brand new flow assembly was installed into the humidifier and secured with brand new screws to hold it in place * Once installed, the low-voltage electrical was connected to the float assembly * The cartridge was polished clean, and the floats were polished as well- The humidifier water panel is brand new and the customer has replacements on site * Install the humidifier, water panel and cartridge into the float assemb
Customer has no heat on the first floor of the home: * Customer stated that she had the ducts cleaned by us last week and when she tried to use the heat today the first floor did not work * i I checked the furnace and found it off on a error with 4 red flashes indicating off on limit * inspected safety’s and found it off on the roll out switch on the right side of the furnace * the switch was reset and the furnace fires up properly- monitor operations for 15 minutes- okay * Stop the call for heat at the thermostat and switch it to cooling * Perform powder cloud test on heat exchanger, as well as testing the heat exchanger with the manometer with the fan on and running in cool mode- Normal operations, no blowback * No pressure reading from the heat exchanger * Confirm air filter is clean and clear * The blower wheel is dirty- The system is approaching 19 years old * Cycle the heat on and off again (2) times Monitoring operation / Flames and system- okay The heat is back up and runnin
